Blending traditional dot-style painting with cartography, its branching pathways mirror a "dendritic spike"—the exact biological mechanism the brain uses to encode a memory, a concept discussed in Jeff Hawkins' A Thousand Brains. By mapping the brain's place and grid cells alongside physical terrain, the work explores how a liminal getaway from the regular cadence of life physically shapes our internal geography.
